On the early morning of the Fancy Dress Competition, Sharon dropped by the club to bring the rescue crew gorge walking.

Last Wednesday, the group set off on the DART for Bray to visit the aquarium, Sea Life.

Dun Laoghaire Harbour weather and web cams

Irish Youth Sailing Club is situated on the West Pier in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. It is a voluntary run childrens' sailing / youth club. The Club / School operates on weekends and on all school breaks.  We have various activities in the summer and then indoor training courses and club activities in the winter.

Training is spread over a four year programme and covers more than 17 marine related and youth development training courses.

A new member starting off in their first year will cover Sail Training Level 1 and kayaking in the summer. Fire  Training, Maintenance Training, and Water Safety will be covered in the winter.

Then each year they advance on with further  training such as Powerboating, Windsurfing, Navigation, First Aid, Safety Boat, Sea Survival, VHF, The President's Awards, Camping, Fishing and so on.

 

Membership fee for the year of 2011 is €330. There after membership fee is due in November of each year for the following year.
